Well frankly I have no idea… But on rare occasions thoughts do pop into my head and I’ve decided some of them may even be worth exploring, discussing and documenting.

To that end I’ve created this blog to provide me a place to jot down my inane thoughts which will no doubt tend to be focused on network architecture and design, wine and whiskey, travel, and maybe even some science, or at least science fiction.

Perhaps a good place to start is to provide some information about myself. Don’t worry this will not be a common occurrence 🙂

I’ve been working in the IT industry for more than 15 years, in which time I’ve worked at multiple companies from startups to very large corporations, and most things in between.

My interests are varied but tend along the geek scale, thus I like IT, sci-fi, computer games, reading, science (especially physics and cosmology), engineering, but also travel, food, wine and whiskey.

Well that should do it for now. Hope you can come by sometimes for a visit, leave a comment or just laugh at me or my ramblings.
